In order to meet the objectives of this ACGC item students must:
Select examples where his/her attitudes, behaviour or values are influenced by others, and examples where he/she influences others.
The Learning Strategy for this ACGC is SELECT. This means that the lesson must explicitly teach students how to select information.

- Brainstorm with students how friends and family influence them
- Consult the Quebec Reading Connection to see children's literature connected to this theme
- Brainstorm how games, social media, TV and radio influence them
- Brainstorm how students can influence adults, peers and their communities
- Play games that demonstrate the effects of peer pressure

- Have students decide on the criteria that they will use to select those factors that influence them

- Students can share their list orally, as an art creation, as a poem or in any other way that you would like to explore
- Students can use MyBlueprint to make a Journal entry listing their social influences using the "All About Me" Portfolio
