My Blueprint can be used as a tool to engage student thinking about Interests and Aptitudes. The following instructions will help you guide your students.

Click School Account Log In button
Log in with SWLSB credentials
Click +Add Box
Select from the following options:
Add Box: to add something About Me, School, Goals
Add Journal: to add a written journal entry (you can add media to go with it after)
Add Media: to add a media artifact (photo/video/audio recording) (you can add written text after)
Explicitly point out interests and aptitudes that the teacher has observed in each student
Explicitly point out interests and aptitudes that the teacher has observed in each student
Have students add those interests to their portfolio
+Add Box > Add Box > About Me > My Interests
Have students add a reflection:
How did your interest start?
How long have you been interested in this area?
Students can use poetry templates, sculpture, collage, video, spoken word or any other medium you would like to experiment with to produce a description of themselves related to the interests and aptitudes they have identified.
Have students upload their production to their All About Me portfolio in myBlueprint
Have students add a reflection about why they chose the specific type of medium to represent themselves
